Ah no worries. everyone has their own pace! I definitely would love to do it as an overnight. It would be such a fantastic experience to camp in the area. I descend a bit fast and got altitude sickness on the way down. I felt like my head was going to explode. hahaha

I love your write-up! it looks so amazing in the winter time! cannot wait until January now to visit it with snow.

That's some high-speed hiking. I'm not sure if I could do Gorgonio as a day hike, and definitely not in less than eight hours. Heck, it takes me eight hours to do Mount Wilson! I did hike Vivian Creek a bit a few years ago. Very nice, but never made an effort to hike Gorgonio. Just seemed too long and steep to do in a day.
